Figures of summary
Providing a summary or overview is a regular rhetorical strategy. Summarizing is also a rhetorical convention within an oration, and in a legal argument you normally include a summary in your closing speech, so these techniques are particularly useful there. The figures of summary include:
- accumulatio
- anacephalaeosis
- complexio
- epanodos
- epiphonema
- symperasma
- synathroesmus
